Reformat uses Microsoft authentication for secure, seamless sign-in.
How to Sign Up
- Go to web.reformatword.com
- Click Sign in with Microsoft
- Enter your Microsoft credentials (work, school, or personal account)
- Approve the permissions request
- You’re in!

What Happens When You Sign Up
When you create your account, Reformat automatically:
- Creates your personal organisation — even individual users have an “organisation” to enable team features later
- Gives you 1 free credit — try formatting a document immediately
- Sets up your dashboard — access templates, track usage, manage settings
No credit card is required.
Using Your Work Account
If you’re signing up with your company Microsoft account:
- You can later invite colleagues to join your organisation
- Your admin may have set up domain auto-join for easy team onboarding
- Check if your company already has a Reformat organisation you should join
Joining via Referral Link
If someone invited you to Reformat:
- Click the referral link in your email
- Sign in with Microsoft
- Both you and your referrer receive 2 bonus credits
Joining an Existing Organisation
Via Email Invitation: Accept the invitation email from your admin, sign in with Microsoft, and you’ll be added automatically.
Via Company Domain (Auto-Join): Sign in with your company Microsoft account (e.g., you@company.com). Your admin receives a notification and once approved, you gain access to shared credits and templates.
Completing Your Profile
After signing in, go to Profile in the sidebar to update your display name. Your profile photo is imported from your Microsoft account.
Troubleshooting Sign-In Issues
“Sign-in Failed” or looped back to login: Ensure pop-ups are allowed, try a different browser, clear cache and cookies, or verify Microsoft Entra ID settings for company accounts.
Can’t find your account: Make sure you’re using the same Microsoft account you signed up with.
Organisation access issues: Contact your organisation’s admin, check pending invitations in Team, or ensure your email domain matches.
