When One-Time Credits Are Used

Credits are consumed in this order:

  1. Monthly subscription credits (first)
  2. One-time and add-on credits (when subscription credits are exhausted)
  3. Referral credits (as a final fallback)

One-time credits serve as overflow protection — you will not run out mid-month even if your subscription allocation is used up.

Use Cases

Without a subscription: occasional formatting, trying Reformat beyond the free credit, project-based work.

With a subscription: overflow protection for busy months, seasonal spikes, safety buffer for deadlines.

Tip: If you have an active subscription, consider add-on credits instead — they offer a lower unit cost.
